The initiatic walks include walks through majestic Himalayan landscapes and daily satsangs (teachings) in English and French. The walks are in silence. Speech resumes upon arrival at the camp places.

Cost: trekking fees to the agency (see below) + tuition fees to Tilicho
Trekking fees (Yuksom to Yuksom) + 5% GST. Depend upon group size: 6-9 people: 16500 rp per person (more or less 200€); 10 people onwards: 15000 rps per person + Transportation costs from the train station / airport to Yuksom (6000 rupees to be divided between 6 or 8 people). +Trekking license: 3000 rupees. Food expenses in Yuksom upon arrival and leaving (100-300 rupees a meal). If you wish to carry your backpack, you need to add an additional cost. You will find all the necessary information below.
Tuition fees to Tilicho are to be paid in advance at the time of registration: (minimum suggested: 15 € per day).
By reserving your place you certify to release the teacher Tilicho (Fabienne Barousse) of any responsibility in the event of injury, accident, damage or theft of personal belongings. You also testify not to suffer from physical and psychic disorders.

Once all registrations have been made to Tilicho, I will give you the number of participants in order to pay the trekking agency according to the group size. I will send you the link with the exact amount to pay the trekking agency.
Day 1 (26th October): Bagdogra airport to Yuksom – 160 Km by car – 8/9 hours. Pick up at 10am NJP railway station. Pass through police check post at Melli; Foreigners need Inner Line Permit (ILP). The driver will help to get it; Procedure takes half and hour. Lunch break at Jorthang. Last ATM at legship. Base camp in Yuksom; Overnight in guest house. Day 2 : Rest day at Yuksom. Permit processing day required for foreigners / non - Indians Day 3: Trek to Sachen – 8 Km – 4 hours Day 4: Trek to Tsokha – 7 Km – 4/5 hours Day 5: Trek to Dzongri – 12 Km – 6/7 hours Day 6: Rest and active acclimatisation day at Dzongri. Climb to Dzongri top and back. Day 7: Dzongri to Thansing– 11Km – 5/6hours Day 8: Thansing to Lamuney– 3 Km – 1/2 hours - you can trek further to Samiti lake (2kms) Day 9: Trek to Goecha La (View Point 1) and back to Kochurang – 16 Km – 8/9 hours Day 10: Kokchurang to Tsokha – 18 Km – 6/7 hours Day 11: Tsokha to Yuksom – 15 Km – 5/6 hours Day 12: Return to NJP/Bagdogra by car – 160 Km – 8/9 hours (by 6 PM)
** TREK FEE per person is from Yuksom to Yuksom. This doesn't include transportation from NJP / Bagdogra / Siliguri to Yuksom and return. TREK FEE essentially covers everything that you need for the trek once you start the trek. We protect our trekkers with Accidental Insurance Policy covering high altitude trekking tours (For Indian nationals it is included in the TREK FEE, up to 60 years of age).

Transportation Cost : The trek starting point for this trek is Yuksom. To reach Yuksom the access is through "NJP (New Jalpaiguri Railway Station) / Bagdogra(Siliguri airport). We will have a pick up from NJP/Bagdogra and drop for trekkers on sharing basis. Typically a Tata Sumo/Mahindra Maxx/Bolero charges Rs 5500 - 6000 one side which can accommodate 6 to 8 people. This is not included in the package and will be shared equally by the team members on actual basis. Offloading Cost : If you want to offload your Rucksack and be carried by Porter then you need to pay additional ₹ 2200 for the entire duration of the trek. The Rucksack should not weigh more than 10 Kg.
Requisites for foreigners / Non-Indians :
Foreigners / non-Indians aren't allowed to trek solo anywhere in the state of Sikkim. There should be at least two of them in any group.
Apart from the usual permits, two additional permits are required for foreigners to trek in Sikkim. ILP / Inner line Permit is issued free of cost when they enter Sikkim. This Inner Line Permit is required to process the second permit from Tourist & Aviation Dept. , Gangtok. Foreigners need to reach Yuksom at least a day prior to the trek so that we can process this permit. Additional Rs 3000 per person will be charged to foreigners as PERMIT PROCESSING FEE.
The TREK FEE essentially covers everything you might need after the trek starts. however the details are mentioned below :
Inclusions:
3 night’s accommodation at Yuksom (Day 1, Day 2 & Day 10) in lodge on sharing basis. (meals at Yuksom are not included).
All meals during the trek. Regular Indian style nutritious vegetarian food during the trek (including occasional eggs), breakfast packed/hot lunch (depending upon the time you reach a campsite), snacks, dinner along with coffee/tea/soup.
Excellent Trekking Guide, who will be a local to this particular area and has profound knowledge of the trekking trails around.
Specialised Cook, Support staff, Porters/Packed Animals for carrying the central logistics of the trek.
Stay in tents (3 persons dome or ridge shaped tents) on sharing basis during the trek.
Camping equipment like Sleeping bag, Carry mattress, Gaiters, Micro spikes/Crampon. (Bring your own sleeping if you have a high altitude specific personal Sleeping Bag. This is always better for hygienic reasons.)
Kitchen tent, dinning tent and toilet tent as required during the trek.
All permit fee, camping charges, forest levy required for the trek inside Kanchendzongha National Park.
Basic Medical & First Aid kit.
Accidental Insurance Policy covering high altitude trekking tours (For Indian nationals it is included in the TREK FEE, up to 60 years of age). It covers your trek as well as your return journey to NJP/Bagdogra.
Exclusions:
Transportation from NJP/Bagdogra to Yuksom and return to NJP/Bagdogra.
Meals at Yuksom. There are decent option of vegetarian and non vegetarian breakfast and dinner in local restaurants (Indian Thali/Chinese/basic Continental).
We assume that you will carry your personal Rucksack/Backpack with all your personal belongings. If you want to offload your Rucksack and be carried by Porter then you need to pay additional ₹ 2200 for the entire duration of the trek. The Rucksack should not weigh more than 10 Kg.
